Tournament Setup

Warm-Ups

You may warm-up and practice prior to the announced match time on your own, however, no warm-up or practice matches are permitted once the Match Start Time has kicked-off. If a Match is played before the scheduled time, it will not be considered a warm-up and will count as the official results.

Player Delay

Players may not delay the start of a match beyond its scheduled start time, without the approval of one of the Tournament Administrators. Players may delay a match between games for up to five minutes. Players may also request that a Tournament Administrator enforce this five minute time limit. After five minutes of a Tournament Administrator enforced delay, if the delaying player is not ready to participate and start, they will forfeit the match and will be eliminated.

Required Number of Players Per Team

There can only be one player per team to start the match. A player will forfeit should they pass the 5 minute grace period at the start or in between the matches. This is a 1 vs. 1 elimination bracketed tournament.

Internet Disconnections

If a player disconnects before the first 30 seconds or first match goal scored, the game must be restarted. If a player disconnects from a game after the first 30 seconds or after the first match goal, the game will be resumed at the closest possible point as long as the player notifies one of the Tournament Administrators as soon as this happens and a match restart permission is provided. The scores of the games will be combined to obtain the overall game score. If a player disconnected deliberately due to a penalty, free kick, and/or red card, then that player will forfeit the match.

Match Ties

In the event of a tie in the first 90-minutes, extra time should be played. If no player is deemed a winner, a second match should be played. If the second match is still tied when the extra time played, then the match will continue to penalties.

The Kick-off Bug

If an advantage is gained such as a goal being scored or an attacking possession achieved then team who performed the action will forfeit the match. If no advantage is gained, the match must continue. Kick-off Glitch falls under abuse of in game mechanics and is when the screen slows down repeatedly.
